Domestic Violence

Domestic violence crimes are crimes in which the alleged victim is related to the accused by marriage, by blood, or where the parties have a child in common. Also, if you live or in the past lived with the alleged victim, the crime can be designated as domestic violence. Due to recent legislation, domestic violence cases are aggressively prosecuted, even if the victim refuses to participate in the prosecution.
